Butsugyō-ji is located in the Fukasawa area of Kamakura. It is an inconvenient little area for visiting, but it is just excellent.

When I visited, flowers are in bloom a lot, especially the mountain behind the main hall is great. It became my favorite temple. It was the end of hydrangea season. It is famous for azalea.

Shōnan-Fukasawa of Shōnan-Monorail is the nearest station. It takes a little from the station. Butsugyō-ji is near Fueda park. I could hear the sound of hitting balls on the tennis court in the park while climbing the mountain behind. The precincts are well maintained. You can enjoy various flowers. Entering around the pond behind the main hall is prohibited. The pond looks good from the mountain behind. Lotus flowers bloomed a lot.
